On 23 and 24 November the University of Goettingen hosts the VIIth annual U4 rectors' meeting.
During the annual sumposium the rectors decide on the strategy and agenda of the upcoming U4 year together with a delegation of university directors, cluster coordinators and students of the respective partner universities.
The setting of this two-days meeting is the historical Paulinerkirche which at present is the convention and exposition centre for the State and University Library of Goettingen.
During the Rectors' Meeting all clusters present their work-in-progress and their plans for future actions. Major achievements in 2014 have been a.o. the Global Studies Conference, the Athens PhD Winter School in Antiquity, the launch of the U4 peer review cycle, and the third succesful edition of the Ageing Brain Summer School.
In the margin of the rectors'meeting specific sessions are planned between the cluster coordinators, the university directors and the students. Moreover, on occasion of the rectors' meeting the research network in Multilingualism holds its kick-off conference in Goettingen on 21 and 22 November.
